Women of Excellence first started in 2007 as an in-home Bible study for women under the umbrella of Bread of Life Church. The Bible study gave women one night a week to gain the knowledge and biblical teaching to build a closer and better relationship with Christ. The vision of the Bible study is to empower women to be doers of the Word of God. Through our diligence and obedience in Christ we have gained spiritual growth that we are able to impart into other women. We began doing this by ministering to women through conferences, retreats, prayer breakfasts, and one-on-one ministry. Women of Excellence has since become Women of Excellence, Inc. God has given us a vision for an outreach ministry that will included providing resources for not only women but the entire community.
These women, which include eight original founding members are the ones who co-labored with Pastor Stephanie in bringing the love of Christ to the women of Central Virginia. This vision continues on a national and international stage.
